For the second week in a row the U16 found themselves behind at half time .This week by only 3 goals but with a first half display so much different to the one at Trowbridge the week before. The score line 3-0 at half time did not reflect the half, once again the girls finishing when they had created good chances let them down. Bassett did have chances and so many that the score could have been 6-3 in favour of the home side. The girls passing ,work rate and movement was of very high quality .And for long periods of the half were very much in control .But Devizes had managed to score three goals very much against the run of play. All three were break away goals with some fine play and not scrappy or poor goals to concede.

Bassett first goal came after 10 minutes a fine threw ball by Joni to find Jenna, wide on the right side who then got to the bye line to pick out Joni middle of the goal for a tap in. The goal gave Bassett a lift as the second half was going the same as the first. Bassett again creating chances, but still not able to turn clear chances into goals. Devizes were still looking for the next goal themselves to kill the game off. Bassett scored the next goal of the game, Jena the scorer who confidently rounded the Devizes keeper after a threw ball from Joni 21minuets played. Game On

The following 9 mins was heartbreaking the football played was decent and only let down by the ball not hit the back of the net.

The game finished in defeat but the football played far out way the missed chances.

The team gave a good performance and never gave up even when 3-0 down.
