In the first half the teams the were battling it out and Wootton Bassett defended well. Both teams had some attempts at goal but Wootton Bassett were unfortunate in not getting the goals on target and Trowbridge could not get passed Wootton Bassett's goal keeper.

In the first two minutes of the second half Wootton Bassett were unable to stop a Trowbridge Wanderer's corner cross and the ball came off a Bassett defender and went into the net. Wootton Bassett then seemed to step up a gear and have more goal attempts, they even had a free kick attempt after a hand ball, however luck was not with them and they could not score. In the dying minutes of the game Trowbridge got the better of Wootton Bassett's defence and scored. The final score was Wootton Bassett 0 and Trowbridge Wanderers 2. The girl of the match for Wootton Bassett was the Goal Keeper, Sarah Humpheries.
