Only the second win in nine games for the Under 14's but they were always in control in this match despite the closeness of the final score. Bassett raced into a 4-0 lead thanks to two goals each from the deadly duo of Chris Mochan and Tom Walkley. The home side pulled a goal back and with the game drawing to a close some silly defending in the closing stages allowed the home side to socre two more to give the impression of a tighter game than was actually the case.
