All the goals in this game were scored in the first half. Highworth opened the scoring, a goal that was cancelled out by Philip Roberts. Poor defending by Bassett allowed Highworth to score two more goals before the break. The second half was evenly poised and although Bassett's forwards played well they were unable to convert the chances created.
