The U17 Girls opened their season with an exciting first home game against Paulton Rovers, narrowly losing 7–6 in a thrilling encounter.

Despite the result, there were plenty of positives, with the girls showing fantastic energy, determination and commitment throughout. They created numerous chances and never gave up. Hannah was fantastic in goal, making some excellent saves.

Daisy L and Freya showed great strength and energy in midfield, while Eleanor and Amelie were brilliant when they came out and defended with confidence. Daisy B also got onto the scoresheet.

However our Player of the Match, Esme, produced an outstanding performance, scoring an incredible five goals! ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ Her strength, power and finishing were fantastic. A huge well done to the whole team — plenty to be proud of!
