Wootton Bassett booked a place in the second round after a comfortable 6-0 victory over Hampshire League side Amesbury Town.

In a scrappy first 45 minutes Lee Stoddart finally gave Bassett the lead ten minutes before the break.

The half-time cuppa then worked wonders for the home side who completely dominated the second half and added five more goals courtesy of Richard Merchant, Lee Marshall, Micky Goodwin and Nathan Hall (2), the latter spoiling a good performance by being sent off in the last five minutes.
