A gutsy performance from Bassett against their Div 1 opponents almost came off after coming from 2-0 down to score 2 goals in the last 6 mins to force the tie into extra time.Bassett played Brunel off the park for long periods but could not take any of their chances to score the opener.

We deserved better from this game and the scoreline does not do the boys justice.

2 great goals from Sean and Aaron and an all round team performance has shown how far we have come from the disappointment of last season
