It wasn't pretty but we got the result required for the first game of the new season. Highworth were well organised and really should have been ahead in the first half with a number of chances but poor finishing and a few great saves from Ali kept it 0-0 at half time.

After only 5 mins of the second half Highworth took the lead, a deserved one at that!! Thankfully it seemed to kick the boys into gear and we started to finally play some football and got stuck in! The equaliser from A.T. was a through ball from Aaron in midfield and he coolly slipped it past the keeper. The winner, only 3 mins later, was a beauty! Again A.T. took on a through ball as it ran into the right hand side of the box and on the half volley, smashed it into the top corner!

We controlled the remainder of the game after that but we definitely "got away with it" and need to improve our overall performance
