A trio of summer signings swept the board at Royal Wootton Bassett Town Women's First Team's end of season presentation on Saturday evening as the side celebrated a campaign in which they finished as South West Regional Women's Football League Division One Eastern runners-up and matched the club's best ever run in the Women's FA Cup.

Youngster Darcy Cox was the star of the show as she picked up two awards. The full back was Bassett's leading outfield appearance maker, featuring 24 times with just one of those appearances coming from the break. And Cox's consistently strong performances earned her the Players' Player and Supporters' Player of the Year prizes.

Dynamic centre midfielder Natalie Goodright earned the Manager's Player of the Year award. In her first season with Bassett, Goodright featured 23 times and netted five times. Her haul included vital goals to seal a come from behind win away at Poole Town and a last minute equaliser at home against Bath City that sealed Bassett's runners-up finish.

The versatile Kelly Nightingale then earned the Coaches' Player of the Year prize. A player who featured in multiple roles in defence and midfield - as well as briefly in goal in a late season friendly, Nightingale made 21 competitive appearances, with all but four of these being starts. She also found the net once in a 5-1 win away at Frome Town.
