Frome Town Reserves maintained their position in third place in the Wilts Combination Division 2 as the result of a 4-2 win over Wootton Bassett Res. Frome, who had Chris Bayliss at centre-forward, scored after a quarter of an hour through outside left D. Dickinson. Five minutes later Dickinson scored again and in the 30th minute Reed added a third.

Wootton Bassett fought back in the second half and Jackson netted ten minutes after the resumption, following with another goal ten minutes later. Then when it looked through Wootton might equalise Dickinson broke away to score his third goal of the match.
