Royal Wootton Bassett U14 Girls had a difficult start to the season, losing 1–5 against Abbey Meads. After some late changes, a huge thank you went to Georgia G, Chloe, Ruby and Tia for stepping up in goal.

The girls started strongly and competed well, with Christina finishing brilliantly from Emily's pull-back after a lovely pass from Lauren to make it 1–2. Abbey Meads added three more goals, but the girls continued to work hard despite the heat and fatigue.

Player of the Match was Felicity, who showed fantastic composure, energy and passing in midfield. Despite the result, every girl kept going and never gave up. There were plenty of positives to take forward.
