Royal Wootton Bassett U12 Girls opened their season with a competitive fixture against Tyrone Mings, losing 2–0. It was a closely fought game, with both teams working hard throughout. The girls showed plenty of determination as they adapted to nine-a-side football for the first time.

Tyrone Mings secured the win with two goals, but there were plenty of positives for Bassett to take from the performance. The girls continued to work hard and showed a positive attitude throughout. The match provided valuable experience and highlighted areas to develop as the season progresses.
