Sunday 7th September 2008 - Lydiard Youth (H)

A fantastic start to the new season boys! Being newly promoted will mean a very tough few months ahead but on this performance we should be able to hold our own. Playing with 5 across the middle worked perfectly as we bossed the midfield from start to finish. Great all round displays from everyone from front to back with lovely passing meant we thoroughly deserved the win.

We took the lead thru a scrappy goal from Dan midway into the first half and maybe should have gone in by a bigger margin as we had a few chances. The boys came out strongly in the second half and Adam added the second with a header and Zane sealed the game with a cross that drifted over the keeper and into the net!!

Well done boys. Next game v Shaw on 21/09/08.
