A cup shock looked on the cards at Ballards Ash as Wootton Bassett Town trailed 2-0 against bottom of the table Cirencester Town with 10 minutes to play, Chris Godwin and Will Jones having put the visitors in front. Tim Gleed gave Bassett hope of forcing extra time with a well-struck shot and then a last minute goal from Gareth Jones saved Bassett's blushes. Further goals in extra time from Gleed and Dan Lowes gave Bassett a somewhat fortunate win.
