Good away win for Bassett U10's

The first half was fairly even with Bassett having more possession and the better chances to score, however it ended 1-1 at half time. Jack Deane had a good first half coming out twice to meet Ramsbury players to take them on one on one and winning. Bassett and good openings from Daniel Jones, Matty Bradshaw, Ryan Allen and the eventual scorer Sam Davies with a fantastic lob. Ramsbury turned an early second half Bassett attack into a goal with a good break. Bassett drew level with a pin point corner from Daniel Jones turned in by Ryan Allen. Good work from Aidan Cressey, Daniel Jones and Scott Millward led to two more Ryan Allen goals one of which was a real net buster. Aidan Cressey and Ryan Allen combined to set Scott Millward up for a well taken fifth goal. With the scores at 2-3 to Bassett Mitchell Amos saved Bassett from an equalizer with a fantastic goal line clearance. A good result however the ironic thing is that was probably the worst game that the team have played all season, yet this is the biggest win we have had, all this against the team who are second in the league.
