After Saturday's FA Vase outing, Royal Wootton Bassett Town face more cup action on Tuesday night when Clanfield visit in the Wiseman Lighting Floodlit Cup second round (7.45pm kick off).

While facing Hellenic League Division One opposition, Sam Collier and his team are in for a real test against a Robins side who are flying high and battling for promotion to the Premier Division.

The game represents the first meeting of the teams since May 2021 when Bassett triumphed 2-0 in Oxfordshire in a Hellenic League Challenge Cup first round contest. A Challenge Cup contest between the teams in 2017-18 also ended in victory for Bassett, with Sam Collier scoring the game's only goal.

Admission on Tuesday is £7 for adults, £4 for concessions and free for RWBTFC youth members.

There's also home action in the Wiltshire League Floodlit Division on Thursday night as the Under 18s entertain Bradford Town (Gerard Buxton Sports Ground AGP, 8pm kick off).

Bassett were 7-1 winners in the reverse fixture in September and will be looking for a repeat as they aim to complete a season double.

Admission on Thursday is £4 for adults, £2 for concessions and free for RWBTFC youth members.
