Saturday sees a very tough test for Royal Wootton Bassett Town's Men's First Team as Sam Collier and his side visit Hellenic League Premier Division title hopefuls Worcester City (3pm kick off).

The game represents the first ever meeting between the teams - and Bassett will have to be at their best to get anything from the contest, let alone maintain their run of six consecutive wins.

Regardless of the outcome, it's set to be a welcome challenge and a great opportunity to play in front of a sizeable crowd as Worcester seek to restore their former glories.

Also on Saturday there's a home derby for the Development team as they welcome Wroughton to the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground in the Wiltshire League Premier Division (AGP, 2.15pm kick off).

Mark Simpkins' side will be seeking to avenge their early season 4-2 defeat against their rivals.

Admission for that fixture is £4 for adults, £2 for concessions and free for RWBTFC youth members.

Prior to that there is early weekend action on Friday night though as the Under 18s visit FC Chippenham Youth in the Wiltshire League Floodlit Division (7.45pm kick off).

The teams meet for the first time this season with Bassett aiming to keep in touch in a seemingly open race for second behind leaders Bristol Manor Farm.
