Friday 9th October 2020

Following the resignations of Jonny House and James Goddard, who have joined Larkhall Athletic Women, Royal Wootton Bassett Town are inviting applicants for the position of Ladies team manager.

Applicants should, at a minimum, possess the FA Level Two in Coaching Football qualification. Previous managerial experience is desired, though not necessary.

A full job description is available here.

To apply for the role or to receive any further information please contact Chairman Andy Walduck (andy.walduck@rwbtfc.co.uk; 07980 730905), Vice Chairman Pete Yeardley (peter.yeardley@rwbtfc.co.uk; 07778 936868) or Secretary Ian Thomas (ian.thomas@rwbtfc.co.uk; 07714 718122).

House and Goddard have resigned after two seasons in charge at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground. In 2018-19, they guided Bassett to the South West Regional Women's Football League Eastern Division and Wiltshire County Women's Cup titles.

They then oversaw a record run in the Women's FA Cup in the curtailed 2019-20 campaign, Bassett's first playing at step five of the women's national league system.
