Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development secured an impressive 0-0 draw away at Letcombe who still had an outside chance of the league title ahead of the game. However, coupled with Kintbury Rangers' win against Salisbury, Bassett taking two points off Letcombe has confirmed Kintbury as Wiltshire League Premier Division champions.
Letcombe had been in the ascendancy for most of the game. But an inspired performance from 'keeper Adam House, who had started the season as an outfield player, coupled with some dogged defending by his teammates ensured a share of the spoils and a vital point in Bassett's quest to retain their Premier Division status.
Salisbury's defeat at Kintbury also helped Bassett's position down at the bottom end of the table.
