Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development fell to defeat at home against Wiltshire League Premier Division leaders Kintbury Rangers.
In the only game played this weekend in the division, Kintbury were prepared to travel to the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground despite the offer to postpone.
It was still extremely difficult conditions in a game switched to the 3G pitch at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground.
Kintbury got off to a great start as two goals early on in the space of a couple of minutes from George Armstrong put them in a commanding position.
That was to be the end of the scoring in the first half. While the home side created chances of their own, they lacked that cutting edge and experience in front of goal, something the visitors certainly had with Armstrong back leading the line for the title favourites.
Kintbury made sure of all three points with a third goal after the break, Jesse Bowers being on hand to turn the ball in after Bassett keeper Adam House had pulled off a great save.
