Yet again the boys have proved how far they have come in the last 2 months. We played Greenmeadow in the middle of our bad run of defeats, being thrashed 8-4 at home, so it was time for revenge!! The start of the game was a bit scrappy, with no-one taking control. After 10 mins we gave the ball away needlessly on the right, their player hit the ball from about 25 yards into the top corner!! That just spurred the boys on and within two mins we were level with a headed corner from Adam Topping (a rare sight!). We had them worried at every corner, I can say that because we scored the other 2 from corners!!! The second goal came from a Sean Miles in swinger and Tyler Sheppard stuck it in with his head. The third was slightly dubious as to whether the defender touched it last but we gave it to Vinny!! Today's man of the match was Robbie Pamphilon. He played his first game of the season in goal, replacing the sick Phil Parsons and he had a blinder!!! Did not put a foot wrong, good saves, held on to a very slippery ball. Well done.
