Bassett Ladies make it two from two

Wootton Bassett welcomed Bradford on Avon Ladies to Rylands way for their first competitive game at senior level and they must have been pleased to not to be over awed by the occasion and defended well for long periods but failed to cause any damage in attack with their young and inexperienced forwards they never really troubled Bassett's back four throughout.

They started well though and it was 26 min before Kirsty Hulse opened the dcoring having twice spurned scoring opportunities before. It was not long before Bassett added a second though the very impressive Rebecca Poole on 26 mins. Making it 2 – 0 at half time.

After the break Bradford pressed again forcing a couple of corners which were each dealt with by the Bassett defence. Again the visitors defended well until the 63 min when Poole scored her second of the afternoon. On 74 min Poole completed her hat trick and then capped a superb afternoons performance setting up Hulse for her second of the afternoon.
