Royal Wootton Bassett Town Women's First Team enter the 2025-26 with quality and depth across the pitch.
New forward Tori Taylor and returning midfielders Amber Egerton and Nat Goodright are prime examples of players who bring those qualities.
Taylor is a forward who has spent most of her career with Swindon Town and arrives after two years at tier five Forest Green Rovers. A unselfish player with presence, she'll offer Bassett something different in attack as they seek to battle for promotion.
Since arriving from Swindon two seasons ago, Goodright has been a dynamic quality addition to the Bassett midfield, as evidenced by her Manager's Player of the Year prize in 2023-24.
Egerton, meanwhile, is a long time servant of the club and multiple player of the year award winner who - thanks in part to her versatility - still offers plenty.
All three are set for crucial roles this season.
Profiles of the players are available below.

Taylor is an experienced forward who joins Bassett this season. A player with presence, an eye for goal and the ability to bring others into the game, she adds something extra to Bassett's attacking options.
Taylor joins from Forest Green Rovers where she spent the past two seasons, scoring 12 goals in 29 games. Early in her career Taylor featured for West Ham United, appearing for their Reserve team in 2015-16. She then joined Swindon Town, featuring for the Robins in the FA Women's National League across six seasons from 2017-18 to 2022-23.
Goodright is a dynamic midfielder who is entering her third season with Bassett after joining from Swindon Town. She enjoyed an excellent first season in blue and yellow, playing 22 times while scoring five goals, earning the Manager's Player of the Year award. Last season she added three goals in 27 games.
Despite still being young, Goodright possesses plenty of experience playing at a higher level. Having featured largely for their Development team, Goodright was primarily a First Team player for Swindon in 2022-23, featuring 19 times and scoring once in the tier four FA Women's National League Division One South West. A goalscoring midfielder, Goodright found the net eight times for Swindon's Development team in 2017-18 and four times a year later. Her strong performance also earned her first taste of first team football, making 14 appearances across those two campaigns. She was then named Swindon's Development team Manager's Player of the Year in 2019-20 after registering five goals in ten games. Goodright continued to mainly feature for the Robins' Development side over the next two seasons, scoring twice in six games in 2020-21 and three times in 16 appearances in 2021-22 when she also played in five first team games.
Having joined in 2014-15, Egerton is one of Bassett's longest-serving players. She is a versatile player, featuring primarily in midfield though who will play anywhere she is asked and will always give 100 percent for her team. A dynamic, energetic player, Egerton will also chip in with a few goals and assists.
In 2019-20, she was a hugely impressive performer. An ever-present, she scored twice and was joint winner of the team's Players' Player of the Year award prize. She previously won that award in 2015-16 and 2016-17 and is a three-time winner of Bassett's Manager's Player of the Year prize (2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17). Injuries limited her appearances in 2021-22, but Egerton bounced back in 2022-23, playing 21 times and scoring twice. In 2023-24 Egerton featured 17 times, adding a further goal, before scoring once in 18 games last season. Overall, since Bassett entered the South West Regional Women's Football League in 2017-18, Egerton has played 126 times, registering 14 goals.
