Accounts

Accounts were presented to members, which showed a profit of £17,922 for the 2019-20 season.

In recognition of the continued support that members showed to the club during the period in which football activities were suspended due to the lockdown, it was agreed that their loyalty would be rewarded. A survey of a sample of Youth Section parents and Veterans Section members was undertaken prior to the AGM in order to determine the most popular option in which to provide this.

The largest vote among Youth Section parents was for a voucher. The club will therefore issue those members who continued payments during the pandemic with a sports voucher worth £46.

Within the Veterans section, the largest vote was that, if the money was not to be kept by the club, then an item of club merchandise would be provided. The club will therefore purchase an item of club clothing for each member who continued payments worth £30.

This means the club will issue £46 sports vouchers to 231 Youth Section members and purchase clothing to the value of £30 for 53 Veterans members. This will leave c. £6,000, which will be retained and use for 'justified' hardship events and cases.

Club Constitution

It was agreed that two changes would be made to the club's constitution.

First, the AGM notification period will be increased from 21 to 28 days. Second, the stipulation that there should be a Secretary for each individual section of the club will change so that only one single club Secretary is required.
