Bassett win Respect Barrier Pro Set

Monday 9th October 2017

Royal Wootton Bassett Town are delighted to have been selected as winners of a Respect Barrier Pro Set in a draw held by the Football Foundation.

Bassett were picked as winners in a random draw entered by over 2,500 clubs across England. And the 24-metre long touchline barrier, which typically retails at £252, will be used for youth games held at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground.

The grassroots football season has begun with a huge and refreshed push by The FA and Football Foundation on the Respect scheme to ensure that football – both on and off the pitch – continues to be enjoyable, inclusive and a positive experience For All.

And The FA are encouraging the use of Respect signage, such as that won by Bassett, to convey messaging that positively reinforces good behaviour amongst parents, coaches, players and officials.

We look forward to showcasing the new barrier at forthcoming games and are proud to support the Respect campaign.
