On Friday, Under 9 Blues manager Jeremy Smith sets off from Royal Wootton Bassett on a bike ride to Santander in northern Spain, and has decided to use his 900 mile journey as a chance to raise funds to purchase a barbecue for the club, which can be used for events throughout the summer.

Jeremy will be looking to raise £500, with any money raised in excess of that amount being donated to the club to purchase other equipment.

Jeremy will start his journey by cycling from Bassett to Salisbury. From there, he will catch the train to Portsmouth before travelling by ferry to Caen in northwest France.

He will then travel through Blain - Royal Wootton Bassett's twin town - and La Rochelle, along France's Atlantic coast before crossing the border into Spain, where he will go through Bilbao en-route to Santander.

He then finishes his trip with the ferry ride from Santander to Plymouth.
