Ladies looking for players ahead of new season

Wednesday 5th August 2015

Royal Wootton Bassett Town Ladies are still searching for more players ahead of the start of their Gloucestershire County Women's League Division One campaign next month.

The Ladies team are looking to build on the success of last season when they finished fifth and lost just one game after Christmas, and are aiming to mount a possible promotion push this year. Their quest begins on Sunday September 6th with a trip to Bristol and West Ladies. Prior to that they have two friendlies lined up against Swindon Town Reserves and Swindon Spitfires Development.

Full details of their fixtures are available on their team page

The majority of last season's side has already signed, with the arrival of a few new and experienced players to complement them. However they are still on the lookout for more players, especially a goalkeeper.

If you are interested or would like more information about the Ladies team please contact manager Becky Gammon via email or on 07825 336479.

Training for the team currently takes place on Thursday evenings from 6.30-8pm.
