The Town team entertained Highworth Town in a Swindon & District League match on Saturday, and lost by one goal tonpii. Play for the first 30 minutes was very even, neither side gaining any material advantage until a "soft" goal came to the visitors,. Watts kicked towards goal, and Lawrence failed to gather the ball.

The second half saw the home team having more than an equal share of the play, but all their efforts brought no result and the game ended almost in darkness owing to the late arrival of the visitors.
