Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development exited the Wiltshire Senior Cup at the quarter final stage after a 3-1 home defeat against Western League Division One Warminster Town.

Warminster scored all four of the goals, with Bassett's late consolation goal coming courtesy of an own goal.

As had been the case in their recent defeat at the hands of Wiltshire League Premier Division leaders Shrewton United, Bassett did not help themselves by conceding possession in dangerous positions which Warminster took full advantage of to build up an unassailable 3-0 lead.

Warminster were also reduced to ten men in the second half, but by then the game was beyond Mark Simpkins' side.
