Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development exited the Fountains Trophies Senior Cup at the first round stage for a second season in a row after letting slip a 2-0 lead against Shrivenham, who pulled off a stunning comeback to win 3-2.

Bassett looked to be in control of the tie, with an early first half goal from Prince Nyongolo and a Flynn Walters strike shortly after the restart putting them in charge.

But a quick reply from James Hirst got Shrivenham back into the game before Chris Rivers levelled as the tie headed into the closing stages.

Then with penalties looming, Brad Hirst snatched a winner for the home side to seal another early exit for Bassett.
