Royal Wootton Bassett Town aim to make it four wins from a stretch of four consecutive home Hellenic League Premier Division fixtures on Saturday when Thornbury Town visit the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground (3pm kick off).
Bassett's excellent recent form has seen them edge seven points ahead of Thornbury in the standings - and Jonny Aitkenhead's side will be looking to extend the current solid advantage they hold over Saturday's visitors, while also avenging the 2-0 opening day defeat against their opponents.
Thornbury have been dragged into the fight against relegation at the same time as Bassett have managed to more or less extricate themselves from that struggle.
But the visitors do have momentum in recent head-to-head meetings, having won the past two league games, including a 2-1 victory in Wiltshire last season.
Another side featuring plenty of young talent, Saturday's game promises to be a good one.
Admission is £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and free for RWBTFC youth members.
Then on Sunday the Women's First Team return to South West Regional Women's Football League Division One North action with a tough away assignment at Bath City (2pm kick off).
The first meeting between the teams this season, Bassett will be aiming to get back to winning ways against opponents who could still work their way into contention for a top three finish.
In four previous league encounters against Bath, Bassett have recorded two wins, a draw and a defeat. No game has been decided by more than two goals either - so another close contest should be in store.
