Royal Wootton Bassett Town Under 16 Girls had a difficult match against Ashton Keynes in some pretty horrendous weather on Saturday and suffered a narrow defeat.

The girls started a bit slowly and found themselves 2-0 down, but they showed great determination in fighting back and took the lead with three great goals from Daisy B, Matilda and Maisie.

The girls were 3-2 up going into the second half but things didn't quite go Bassett's way. The Blues ended up finishing the game a player down with no subs, and Ashton Keynes unfortunately bagged a 5-3 win. However, it was overall a good performance from all the girls.

Daisy S did really well coming off the bench and was awarded player of the match.
