Royal Wootton Bassett Town and Royal Wootton Bassett Sports Association would like to remind all Gerard Buxton Sports Ground users - be they RWBTFC members or opponents - of rules regarding appropriate footwear for the AGP pitch.

In order to protect the quality of the surface, players, coaches, officials, parents and other helpers are reminded to take note of the footwear that is acceptable to wear on the 3G pitch as this will be strictly enforced (with those wearing incorrect footwear liable to be removed).

The only footwear acceptable to wear on the AGP pitch are football boots with moulded or screw-in plastic, nylon or rubber studs.

The following are NOT permitted: football boots with blades, football boots with metal or metal-tipped screw-in studs, astroturf trainers, general trainers and any other type of footwear.

Please also make sure that boots are clean before going onto the pitch as muddy footwear will damage the surface.
