Alice Farnell - Goalkeeper
Farnell is a young ‘keeper who will be entering her first season in the senior game. Having previously played for the Wiltshire representative team, she has all the attributes to make the step up successfully this season. She combines her excellent physical qualities with her strong shot-stopping abilities and will provide strong competition for the number one shirt.

Abi Footner - Goalkeeper
Footner was a regular last season – her first with the club, playing every game for Bassett and keeping a lot of clean sheets in the process. She made some vital saves last season to help the team on their way to promotion. Footner brings a wealth of experience and is a presence both on and off the pitch. From her position in goal, she gives guidance from the back and commands her box excellently.

Jess Dent - Defender
Formerly with Swindon Spitfires, Dent is ever-improving and grew into an accomplished reliable, defender last season. She loves both the attacking and defensive sides of the game, and can always be counted on to provide assists as well as the odd goal. She combines creatively with others and will run hard for the whole ninety minutes.

Laura Jefferies - Defender
A Bassett stalwart, Jefferies captained the team last season and won both the Manager’s and Players’ Player of the Year awards after an excellent campaign. She is a solid centre back who is also willing to step out from defence and start attacks. Ultra-reliable and more than happy to get stuck in with the ugly side of the game, Jefferies is another player who will be a role model both on and off the pitch.

Rosie Kirk - Defender
Kirk is a young defender who will be entering her first season in the senior game. A player who has really stood out during pre-season, she will be looking to make herself a regular in the starting eleven. She reads the game exceptionally well for someone of her age and has a calmness which is rare in a player so young.

Mollie Smith - Defender
Smith is another youngster who joins the club having had a brilliant pre-season. She can play across the back line, at both centre back and full back and is more than comfortable in one-on-one situations and possesses composure when on the ball. She will be looking to learn from those around her and will develop with every minute she plays.

Lara Wilson - Defender
Wilson is a young player who joined Bassett in pre-season and has already made a real impact on the management team. She is a competitive player who seems to have improved every game she’s played and is another defender who will be looking to make herself a regular in the team during the season ahead.

Lisa Coe - Midfielder
Another of Bassett’s long-serving players, Coe is a key midfielder who was vital to the team winning the double last season. An elegant midfielder who can dictate the game when needed, Coe is technically superb and has all the ability to cope and excel at this higher level. Coe is club vice-captain and leads by example in the way she plays.

Grace Eagles - Midfielder
A new signing that the management team were keen to capture in the summer, Eagles is an athletic, strong midfielder who has the ability to play various roles. A former Wiltshire County representative player who is improving with every game she plays, a lot is expected in what will be her first season of senior football.

Amber Egerton - Midfielder
One of Bassett’s longest-serving players and a previous winner of the Manager's and Players’ Player of the Year awards, Egerton is another player who has re-signed for the upcoming season. She is a versatile player who would play anywhere she is asked and always gives 100 percent. A dynamic midfielder, Egerton will also chip in with a few goals and assists as well as offering plenty of energy.

Madeline Elliott - Midfielder
A player with a real engine and desire to work hard, Elliott proved to be vitally important at the tail end of the title winning season and performed various roles exceptionally. She is another who has had a good pre-season and will be looking to kick on again this time around.

Hannah Gulliver - Midfielder
Winner of Bassett’s Manager’s Player of the Year award in 2017-18 as well as last season’s Supporters’ Player of the Year after another superb campaign, Gulliver is an all-round athlete who has the ability to defend and attack excellently. A slightly different role this season will hopefully see her affect the game more in the final third and add more goals and assists to her name.

Lauren Kayll - Midfielder
Kayll enjoyed a great breakthrough campaign last season which attracted interest from clubs higher up the pyramid. Bassett are delighted to have kept her and she will no doubt kick on again this season. A player who has the ability to score goals as well as deal with the physicality when required, Kayll is again expected to improve and is more than capable of winning games on her own.

Beth Kelloway - Midfielder
Kelloway joins Bassett from last season’s title rivals Frampton Rangers after impressing during the course of the campaign. A cultured, technically gifted midfielder who is calm in possession and has the ability to dictate the game from the middle of the park, she will be expected to slot straight in and dominate games from midfield.

Aly Lyons - Midfielder
Lyons is a reliable, clever footballer who is neat and tidy in and out of possession. A player that the management can trust to cover various roles and follow instructions brilliantly, Lyons has enjoyed a good pre-season and will be looking to force her way into what is a very competitive midfield.

Zoe Shellard - Midfielder
Shellard is entering her second season for Bassett after joining from Melksham Town. A versatile forward, she uses her pace to stretch teams and can cause problems both on and off the ball. Shellard will offer various options going forward and should prove to be a threat to opposition defences.

Sophie Smith - Midfielder
Smith is a midfielder who managers Jonny House and James Goddard are delighted to welcome to the club. She is a former Wiltshire player who has the potential to really make an impact this season. Smith is a technically gifted, quick player who boasts an eye for goal which has already been seen in pre-season. She will be looking to force her way into the team and chip in with her fair share of goals in the upcoming campaign.

Holly Baker - Striker
Baker is a quick forward player who possesses a great ability to hold up the ball and combine with her teammates. She will be aiming to grab some more goals this season, but her work out of possession is just as important. She is also not afraid of getting stuck in and can always be relied upon to give her best effort for the team.

Eloise Hayward - Striker
After being out injured for a significant period of time, it will be brilliant to see Hayward back in action this season. Clearly a player with tons of ability, pre-season has shown glimpses of what she is capable of when back match fit. Hayward is a former Bassett youth player who will be looking to make an impact when given her chance.

Hayley Huckin - Striker
Huckin is an all-action forward, capable of both holding the ball up and bringing others into play and stretching the opponents' defence. She will bring plenty of goals to the team, finishing as one of team's top scorers over each of the past three seasons, and is a constant threat with her pace. Huckin will be looking to prove she can score just as many at the next level.
