Abi Footner - Goalkeeper
Footner is a player Bassett are delighted to be able to add to their squad this season as she joins from league rivals FC Chippenham. She brings a wealth of experience and is a presence both on and off the pitch. From her position in goal, Footner gives guidance from the back and commands her box, and it will be great to see how she fits into her new team.

Sam Wood - Goalkeeper
Bassett through and through, the Ladies management team were delighted to hear Wood would be re-signing for the club this season. She will primarily be competing for the number one jersey this season, and it is expected her and Abi Footner will push one another for that coveted position. A player who provides a level-headed presence on and off the pitch, Wood is also capable of playing out on field and has the ability to score goal of the season contenders when needed.

Gracie Bridger - Defender
A member of Bassett's all-conquering Under 16 Girls side a couple of seasons ago, Bridger is a player who the management team are delighted to have re-signed this season. Capable of playing at full back on either side as well as in midfield, she combines creatively with others and is incredibly calm when in possession.

Jess Dent - Defender
Formerly with Swindon Spitfires, Dent is the definition of a flying full back. She loves both the attacking and defensive side of the game, and can always be counted on to provide assists as well as the odd goal. She combines creatively with others and will run hard for the ninety minutes.

Hannah Gulliver - Defender
Winner of the Ladies' Manager's Player and Clubperson of the Year awards in 2017-18, Gulliver is a composed defender capable of starting attacks from the back and is more than willing to get stuck in. Gulliver is a committed defender, who will compete for every ball during the 90 minutes on the pitch, and after impressing during pre-season training, is expected to play a key part in the team again this year.

Laura Jefferies - Defender
Jefferies captained Bassett last season and is another player who has re-signed for the upcoming campaign. She is a solid centre back who is also willing to step out from the back and start attacks from her position. Ultra-reliable and more than happy to get stuck in with the ugly side of the game, Jefferies is another player who will be a role model both on and off the pitch.

Mollie Smith - Defender
Smith is another youngster who joins the club having had a brilliant pre-season. She can play across the back line, at both centre back and full back and is more than comfortable in one-on-one situations and possesses composure when on the ball. She will be looking to learn from those around her and will develop with every minute she plays.

Lisa Coe - Midfielder
Coe is another member of last season's squad to re-sign for this year's South West Women's League campaign. She has performed superbly during pre-season after adapting seamlessly into a pivot role within the centre of the team's midfield. Coe is a role model for the team's younger players and is somebody the new management team are particularly looking forward to working with.

Kate Edwards - Midfielder
Edwards bring a lot to any team she plays in. Calm and composed, the midfielder leads by example. These qualities will be vital through a long and arduous season and she sets a shining example to the younger players in the squad. Edwards' knowledge of the game can help lead the team through difficult spells.

Amber Egerton - Midfielder
A previous winners of the Manager's Player of the Year award for Bassett, Egerton is another player who has re-signed for the upcoming season. She is a versatile player who would play anywhere she is asked and always gives 100 percent. A dynamic midfielder, Egerton will also chip in with a few goals and assists as well as offering plenty of energy.

Emma Sykes - Midfielder
Last season's Players' Player of the Year, Sykes is a young central midfielder that loves to get stuck in and impose herself on a game. Sykes has an eye for a pass and is capable of playing at a high tempo for 90 minutes. She is also capable of getting a goal or two, while also providing plenty of assists. Entering her second season of senior football, she will play an important part in the squad again this year.

Lauren Usher - Midfielder
Usher is another player who has re-signed for Bassett this season. She has had a stormer of a pre-season, really staking her claim, and is expected to be vital to the team's plans this season. A versatile player who is capable of playing in a couple of positions, Usher will get stuck in and combine well with whoever she plays alongside.

Holly Baker - Striker
Baker is a quick forward player who possesses a great ability to hold up the ball and combine with her teammates. She will be playing in an unfamiliar position this season, but has adapted well and will certainly grab a few goals. Baker is also not afraid of getting stuck in and can always be relied upon to give her best effort for the team.

Hayley Huckin - Striker
Huckin is an all-action forward, capable of both holding the ball up and bringing others into play and stretching the opponents' defence. She will bring plenty of goals to the team - finishing as the team's top scorer last year with 22 goals, having netted 17 the season before - and is a constant threat with her pace. Huckin has taken on board the new management team's ideas and will be looked upon to influence the game each time she steps out onto the pitch.

Lauren Kayll - Striker
Kayll is one of the young signings Bassett have made this season. A prolific forward at youth level, she has really hit the ground running during pre-season, scoring a hat trick on her debut, which was also her first ever senior match. That gave everyone a glimpse of what to expect this season. Despite her young age, Kayll also is not afraid of ruffling a few feathers.

Aly Lyons - Striker
Lyons is a forward who has re-signed for Bassett after a few seasons away from the club and will add competition to the team's forward line. She is a lively player and will look to stretch the opposition at every opportunity. Lyons has worked hard during pre-season and the management team are looking forward to seeing how she develops over the course of the campaign.

Zoe Shellard - Striker
Shellard joins Bassett this season having previously played in the Wiltshire County League for Melksham Town. A versatile forward, she uses her pace to stretch teams and can cause problems both on and off the ball. Shellard will provide assists as well as goals and is a great addition to the squad.
