Alex Bowers - Goalkeeper
Bowers is a talented young 'keeper who made his first team bow at the end of last season having spent the majority of the year playing for Bassett's Development team. Bowers made a total of three appearances in all, making his debut in a 1-1 home draw against Abingdon United. He'll be expected to be competing for the number one shirt this year.

Matt Bulman - Goalkeeper
Bulman is a hugely experienced goalkeeper, who has played in the professional game as well as at the highest levels of non league football. He began his career with Swindon Town, signing professional terms in 2005 and acting as understudy to Rhys Evans. After making one appearance for the Robins in an FA Cup tie against Boston United, Bulman moved to Salisbury City in 2006. He then had two spells with Cirencester Town, with a year at Swindon Supermarine sandwiched in between, before spending two and a half seasons with National League Forest Green Rovers. Brief spells with Worcester City and Oxford City followed before Bulman spent a season with North Leigh. He then returned to Supermarine in 2015-16 before featuring briefly for Bassett and Highworth Town last year. An excellent shotstopper, Bulman's distribution is also excellent.

Charlie McCready - Goalkeeper
McCready is a talented young goalkeeper who is currently dual-signed with National League Hungerford Town. An excellent shotstopper, with good distribution and communication skills, he is expected to earn significant first team experience while with Bassett.

Adam Corcoran - Defender
Corcoran is a talented, imposing defender, with the ability of playing either at centre half or full back, who re-joined Bassett in the summer of 2015 to begin his second spell with the club. Composed on the ball and dominant in the air, Corcoran is a Cirencester Town Academy graduate who first joined Bassett in 2011-12 after brief spells with Fairford Town and Calne Town. He quickly established himself as a key part of Bassett's defence. Over the course of six seasons, he has played over 175 times, helping the team to promotion in 2012-13. A quality striker of the ball and danger at set pieces too, he contributed 5 goals in 40 appearances five seasons ago.

Carl Evans - Defender
Strong in the tackle and a solid distributor of the ball, Evans is a powerful centre-half who first appeared for Bassett last season. In all he made six appearances, making his debut against Longlevens, while earning man of the match in an away victory against Ascot United. His appearances were limited due to work commitments, with Evans also being captain of the RAF Senior Representative side. He counts Thatcham Town among his former teams.

Harrison Gough - Defender
Gough is an impressive young defender who is a product of Bassett's youth section. Athletic, strong and possessing a good football brain, the youngster made his first team debut last season and will be aiming to cement a regular place in the side this season. Gough spent the majority of last season with the club's Development team and won the side's Players' Player of the Year award as he scored five teams in 24 appearances. Gough made his first team debut as a substitute in a Floodlit Cup tie against Kidlington Reserves. He ended up making eight appearances in all, with a man of the match performance in a 1-0 home win against Ascot United late in the season.

Mark James - Defender
James is a quality central defender who joins Bassett having spent last season with Thatcham Town. Composed on the ball, a great organiser and powerful in the air, James has significant Hellenic League experience and also counts Newbury, Andover, Hungerford Town and Wantage Town, whom he captained to the Premier Division title in 2013-14.

Tony Joyce - Defender
Joyce is a vastly experienced campaigner who joined the club from Highworth Town, with whom he has played for the best part of a decade, towards the end of last season. Comfortable on the ball and possessing great technique and a strong footballing brain, Joyce is capable of playing in midfield and at full back. He initially made his breakthrough with Swindon Supermarine, helping them to the Hellenic League Premier Division title in 2000-01, before making the move to neighbours Highworth. He played a key role in the Worthians' 2014-15 run to the FA Vase semi finals. Joyce also counts Carterton and Wantage Town among his former teams.

Kyle Lapham - Defender
Lapham is a vastly experienced defender who has played the majority of his career in the Southern League. Capable of playing either at centre half or full back, he joins from Highworth Town, for whom he appeared three times last season. Lapham started his career with Swindon Town, making two appearances under manager Andy King in the 2004-05. He had a spell on loan at Cirencester Town a season later, before joining the Centurions following his release from the Robins in the summer of 2006. He then moved on to Swindon Supermarine, appearing over 300 times over the course of nine seasons for the club. Among his many achievements, Lapham helped Supermarine reach the FA Cup second round as well as the FA Trophy third round. In 2011 he spent time playing in Australia for Dandenong Thunder.

Jack Stanley - Defender
Stanley is an impressive young full back who joins the club this season having spent last season with Carterton. A dependable left-side player player, who enjoys getting forward, Stanley has spent the majority of his career with Highworth Town, featuring regularly for their successful reserve side. He also spent time with Bassett's reserve team in 2014-15.

Steve Yeardley - Defender
A Bassett stalwart, Yeardley is entering his fourteenth season, split across two spells, with the club. He has played in every position on the pitch, including ‘keeper, for Bassett, though is most comfortable at full back or in the centre of defence. Yeardley re-joined his home town club in 2012 after having spent the previous three years with Highworth Town, where he won the Hellenic League Challenge Cup. He broke the 400 appearance mark for Bassett three years ago, and in total has featured 479 times for Bassett, scoring 75 goals, including 7 in each of the past two seasons.

Daniel Cole - Midfielder
Cole is a dependable player, comfortable in possession and solid in the tackle, who joins the club this season. He is capable of playing in the centre of midfield and at the heart of defence, and makes the step up to Hellenic League football this season, having spent the past couple of seasons in the Swindon and District League with the highly successful Tawny Owl side. He also counts Purton among his former teams.

Iggy Ilott - Midfielder
Ilott is a hard working midfielder who joins Bassett from Letcombe. A versatile player with an excellent engine, he is also capable of playing in defence. Ilott spent last season with Letcombe in Hellenic League Division One West, helping them to a seventh place finish with four goals in 22 appearances. He began last season with Thatcham before his move to Letcombe, and also counts Kintbury Rangers and Newbury among his former teams.

Danny Lachacz - Midfielder
Lachacz is an experienced central midfielder who joins Bassett from Letcombe. He is a strong, tough-tackling player, but also has a great deal of composure when in possession and is a good distributor of the ball. While featuring primarily in Division One West last season, Lachacz is a seasoned Premier Division campaigner, who has also appeared in the Southern League as well. He was a key member of Wantage Town's 2013-14 Hellenic League title winning side and was one of Thatcham Town's leading appearance makers when they finished as runners-up in 2015-16. As a youngster, Lachacz was with Reading's academy side and also counts Hungerford Town and Newbury among his former teams.

George Lance - Midfielder
Lance is a promising young central midfielder who joined the club two seasons ago from Chippenham Pulse Academy, where he was under the guidance of former manager Rich Hunter. He makes up for his lack of size with a great level of confidence when on the ball and a fine passing range. Lance has impressed hugely in the opportunities provided to him over the past two seasons and is a player who the management team have high hopes for. Two years ago, Lance made his debut against Purton in the Wiltshire Senior Cup and ended up making five starts and 18 appearances in total. Last season he featured fourteen times, with nine starts, including a man of the match display against Woodley United.

Rob Lincoln - Midfielder
Hard-working, with pace and a willingness to take defenders on, Lincoln is an exciting wide player who joins Bassett this summer. The energetic midfielder split time last season between Shrivenham and Purton. Lincoln made his debut with Shrivenham in 2015-16 and established himself as one of their leading appearance makers a season later, scoring four times in 22 games. Last season he netted five times in thirteen games, before finishing the campaign with Purton in the Wiltshire League where he added seven goals in fourteen appearances.

Sam Packer - Midfielder
A cultured midfielder, Packer is in his third spell with Bassett. A tenacious player with clever movement, an eye for a pass and a willingness to take opponents on, Packer possesses game-changing ability and is a focal point of Bassett’s attack. He initially joined Bassett in 2010 from Highworth Town before gaining Southern League experience with Abingdon United and Cirencester Town. He returned briefly to the club four seasons ago, before spending the 2014-15 season with Shrivenham. In the past three seasons with Bassett, he has scored twenty goals in 94 appearances. Packer was in fine form last season before an ankle injury ended his year prematurely in November.

Dale Richards - Midfielder
A product of Bassett's youth section, Richards is a talented young winger who combines athleticism, strength in the air and a fine left foot. He joined Bassett aged 11 and has been with the club ever since, gaining additional experience while at Cirencester Academy. Richards made his first team bow in the 2014-15 campaign and established himself as first choice left back. He shifted to a more advanced role two seasons ago and excelled, finishing second top scorer with eleven goals. Away travelling for a number of months last season, he wound up appearing 29 times while scoring twice.

Kai Robinson - Midfielder
Robinson is an energetic midfielder who joined the club last season, appearing 36 times and scoring once. Strong in the tackle and with a non-stop engine, he is a box-to-box central midfielder, who also has the ability to play out wide. The midfielder was a member of the Wantage team that were relegated from the Southern League Division One South and West two season ago. Prior to joining Wantage, the midfielder played for New College Academy, while also representing Wiltshire Under 18s. Robinson’s breakthrough year with New College came in 2014-15 when he played 27 times, scoring twice. He then played 18 times for the student side in 2015-16.

Josh Shama - Midfielder
A skilful, exciting attacking midfielder, Shama signed this summer to seal a return to the club where his football journey first began. The livewire youngster joined Bassett as an under nine, before being snapped up by Reading. He was with the Royals until his release aged 18 in the summer of 2013, and then decided to join Oxford United. During his two seasons with the Us, Shama enjoyed loan spells with Banbury United and Farnborough. He has spent time over the past couple of seasons in Cyprus, playing for Second Division side Nikos & Sokratis Erimis, and also played for Southern League Mangotsfield United during the 2015-16 campaign.

George Staten - Midfielder
Staten is a talented youngster who is a product of Bassett's youth section. Possessing great pace and a great left foot, he is capable of playing either in midfield or at full back. Staten spent the majority of last season playing for Bassett's Development team, scoring three goals, while winning the Manager's Player of the Year award. His impressive displays were enough to earn a call-up to the first team towards the end of the campaign. In all he made five appearances, winning man of the match on his debut against Abingdon United.

Gio Wrona - Midfielder
A classy midfielder operator with Southern League experience, Wrona is entering his second season with Bassett after appearing fifty times in 2017-18, when he scored four goals and earned Manager's and Supporters' Player of the Year. Two-footed, with a great passing range and plenty of skill, he is capable of playing anywhere across the midfield line, though is most effective in a central role where he is capable of dictating a game. Initially a New College graduate, Wrona has also featured for Swindon Supermarine, Thatcham Town, Larkhall Athletic, Devizes Town, Wantage Town, North Leigh and Cricklade Town during his career.

Matt Bennett - Striker
Fast, skilful and possessing an eye for goal, Bennett is an experienced attacking player who has this season re-joined the club where he began his senior career over a decade and a half ago. Bennett made his Bassett debut in March 2003 and became a first team regular a year later, registering 45 goals over the course of five seasons. He left for Shrivenham during the 2007-08 campaign, before moving to Highworth Town a year later. He enjoyed his most successful Hellenic League Premier Division season with the Worthians in 2009-10, scoring sixteen times. Bennett remained with Highworth until returning to Bassett for a brief spell in 2012-13 before moving back to The Elms a year later. Two seasons ago he struck fifteen goals for Purton and spent last season with Cricklade Town, where he averaged a goal per game in the Wiltshire League.

TJ Bohane - Striker
Bohane, who joins from Bracknell Town, is a prolific forward who has established himself as one of the most feared opponents in the Hellenic League Premier Division in recent seasons. Possessing a superb left foot, strong in the air and a threat from set pieces, he's capable of scoring all kinds of goals. Over the past two seasons with the Robins, he scored 78 times, helping them to consecutive runners-up finishes. Prior to playing with Bracknell, he spent a number of years with Highworth Town. In three seasons between 2013 and 2016, he netted over 100 times in all competitions for the Worthians, and played an integral part in their run to the FA Vase semi-final in 2014-15. Bohane played for Bassett’s Under 18 Floodlit League side in 2004-05 before having spells with Swindon Supermarine, Highworth, Shrivenham and Shortwood United.

Bradley Pagliaroli - Striker
Pagliaroli is an exciting striker who joins Bassett from Letcombe. Possessing good pace and capable of finishing with both feet, he has established himself over the past couple of seasons as a threatening forward in the Hellenic League. Pagliaroli made his Hellenic League debut with Thatcham Town in 2015-16. After a brief spell with Wantage Town, Pagliaroli joined Binfield in 2016-17, where he spent the best part of a season and a half. Last season he began with the Moles, scoring eleven goals in 32 appearances before moving to Letcombe. Pagliaroli has also featured for Kintbury Rangers.

Tyler Sheppard - Striker
A combative attacking player, capable of playing through the middle or out wide, Sheppard is entering his fifth season with Bassett, who he played for as a youth. After being released by Yeovil Town in 2011, he joined Highworth Town before moving to Calne Town. He made the switch to Bassett ahead of the 2013-14 campaign, in which he scored four times in 27 games. Sheppard contributed one goal in 29 appearances in 2014-15, finishing the season with a number of strong displays, before scoring twice in 17 games a season later. He was limited to three appearances with Bassett two years ago, and was with Shrivenham last year, netting three times in 24 games as they finished runners-up in Hellenic League Division One West.
