As part of its community football offering Royal Wootton Bassett Town offers three FREE sets of coaching sessions on Saturday mornings.
These will take place on the state-of-the-art AGP pitch at the New Gerard Buxton Sports Ground between 9 and 10.30am.
All attendees need to bring boots, shin pads and weather appropriate clothing.
For more information please contact Club Community Football Officer Jeff Tidy.
Open for boys and girls of all abilities aged 4-11, the club originally introduced free skills sessions in September 2012 after the club had its Football Legacy Fund (FLF) application accepted by the FA National Youth Council.
These are overseen by Jeff Tidy, a UEFA B licensed coach, and Amy Rowland, as well as young coaches from the club.
In order to encourage more girls to play football, Royal Wootton Bassett Town is also offering girls-only mini soccer sessions. Girls aged 4-11 are welcome to attend.
Helen Tidy, who has previously represented the club's successful Ladies team, will be responsible for taking these sessions.
The club also offers free tailored goalkeeper training to all its youth section 'keepers.
Run by club Goalkeeper Coach Marcus Lewis, sessions are run separately for those in the Under 10-13 and Under 14-16 age groups. Sessions for the two groupings take place on a rotating basis.
Sessions will also now be open for 'keepers from other clubs. For non-RWBTFC members, a £3 fee per session will apply.
Sessions run from 9-10.30am on the Artificial Grass Pitch at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground.
For more information about the goalkeeper training sessions please contact Club Secretary Ian Thomas via email or mobile on 07714 718122.
