Adam House, Afonso Ferreira and Ollie Smith were named as winners of Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development's Player of the Year prizes.

Results-wise, Mark Simpkins' side had a challenging campaign in the Wiltshire League Premier Division as they finished 14th. However, there was success on the cup front with Bassett reaching the Wiltshire Senior Cup semi finals where they suffered an agonising penalty shootout defeat. And there were strong individual performers in the young team.

'Keeper Adam House, a strong performer across his 25 appearances, was one of those - and he claimed the team's Players' Player of the Year prize.

Afonso Ferreira, meanwhile, earned the Manager's Player of the Year award. In his second season with the Development team, the talented midfielder played 32 times, scoring once.

Impressive young full back Ollie Smith picked up the Young Player of the Year award. He featured 25 times scoring once and also gained his first taste of Hellenic League football with six substitute appearances for the Men's First Team.
