Seven was the lucky number for both Royal Wootton Bassett Town's Under 15 Blue side and Under 13 Yellow hotshot Yusuf Guloglu this weekend. The Under 15 Blues hit seven without reply in a big win, while Guloglu racked up that number of goals on his own in his team's big triumph.

The Under 15 Blues were winners away against South Cerney. Ed Greenouff led the way for his side with a hat trick, Finley Lavender struck a brace, while Beau Hicks and Finlay Marshall completed the scoring.

Although still third in North Wilts League Division Two, Bassett are just a point off second place Malmesbury Youth with a game in hand to spare.

In Division Four, the Under 13 Yellows maintained second spot with their 11-1 thrashing of Hungerford Town Juniors. The aforementioned Guloglu was the undoubted star of the show, but William Moreton (2), Fynn Crone and Cheuk Man Koon all netted as well in an impressive team performance.

Although not triumphing in as convincing fashion as those two winners, the Under 18 Yellows and Under 12 Blues were also victorious this past weekend.

Harvey Watkinson scored the only goal of the game as the Under 18 Yellow team edged out Kingsdown Lions Black for their second win in a row in Division Three.

In Division Five the Under 12 Yellows registered an important victory as Aleksander Goralczyk's brace helped them edge out Highworth Town Juniors T by the odd goal in three – a result that sees Bassett leapfrog their opponents into second.

Elsewhere, the Under 18 Blues lost 3-1 at home against Malmesbury Victoria Development – a side Bassett had defeated 4-3 the last time they met.

An Oliver Berry goal was not enough for the Under 14 Yellows who conceded twice in the second half to ultimately lose 4-1 away against Chiseldon Youth White.

Patrick Otoo-Mensah scored his 15th league goal of the season in a 6-1 defeat for the Under 16 Yellows against Pewsey Vale.

And Daisy Bundy found the net for the Under 12 Girls in a 6-2 loss away at Hungerford Town Lionesses.
