Free coaching sessions to resume

Royal Wootton Bassett Town's Free Saturday Skills Sessions and Goalkeeper Coaching schemes are both set to resume. Full details of how to attend are available here.

Free Saturday Skills Sessions and Wildcats Girls' Football Centre

Royal Wootton Bassett Town's Free Saturday Skills Sessions and Wildcats Girls' Football Centre restart on Saturday 4 September.

Please note that, as was the case prior to the summer break, attendance will remain limited and all attendees must be registered in advance. Spaces will be available on a first come, first served basis.

The sessions will take place on the AGP pitch at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground from 9-10am. At this moment in time, the Saturday Skillls Sessions will be open for boys and girls of all abilities aged 5-11, with the Wildcats Girls' Football Centre open to girls of all abilities aged 5-11.

All attendees need to bring boots, shin pads, a named water bottle and weather appropriate clothing.

In addition, all parents/guardians/carers must have read and understood the club's current Covid-19 Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS).

Free Goalkeeper Coaching

Free goalkeeper coaching sessions for RWBTFC youth members, introduced last season, will resume on Monday 6 September for players in the Under 12 to 16 age groups. The next session for the Under 6 to 11 age groups will then be Monday 13 September.

Sessions will take place on the AGP pitch (Pitch A) at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground on Monday evenings from 7 to 8pm.

Sessions are open to any current youth section members who play in goal, or are interested in playing the position.

All attendees need to bring goalkeeper gloves, boots, shin pads, a drink and weather appropriate clothing.

Those wishing to attend must register with either either Mark Francis or Mark Cooper in advance.
