Royal Wootton Bassett Town secured joint-tenth place in the non-league category of the 2020-21 Soccer Club Swap Shop Programme Awards.
The outcome marks the sixth consecutive year that Bassett's first team programme has been voted in the non-league top ten, and ninth year in a row that it has featured among the top twenty.
Once again, the programme was rated as the best produced by a Hellenic League club. But there will be strong competition for that honour next season after Corsham Town's 2020-21 programme was ranked as seventh best in non-league. Corsham have been placed in the Hellenic League for the 2021-22 campaign, having previously been members of the Western League.
The consistently high recognition that Bassett's programme receives reflects the time and effort put in to producing the publications, which are edited by club President Mark Smedley.
Huge thanks also go to long-time club sponsor Cats Solutions, who have printed the club's programmes for more than two decades.
2020-21 was the final season in which Cats will offer this service given a change in focus of their business.
The exceptional quality of the printing service they have provided has contributed significantly to the standard of matchday programme Bassett have been able to put together – and the club is extremely grateful for all the support they have provided. And we are pleased that they will remain a key partner of the club going forward.
The programmes have further benefited from the contributions of Steve Green, whose excellent photographs have adorned the cover pages, and Press Officer Stuart Smedley, who has provided regular content.
