Six hitters!

It was a big weekend for Royal Wootton Bassett Town's Under 12 and 13 teams, with all four sides victorious and scoring at least six goals in their fixtures.

And double-header wins for the Under 13 and 12 Blues kept alive their hopes of high places – with the latter inching towards securing the North Wilts League Division Two crown.

Under 13 Blue

The Under 13 Blues bounced back from dropping points last Sunday by recording a vital double-header victory over Fairford Town Youth – a side Bassett are vying with for a third-place place finish in Division Two.

They recorded a 6-2 win in the 'away' leg, Lewis Osbaldeston leading the way with a hat-trick, with further goals coming from Brandon Jack, Francisco Monteiro Patrao and Jayden Nash.

Jack then bagged a three-timer in the 'home' contest, with Osbaldeston completing the scoring in a convincing 4-1 win.

With two games left, Bassett are now in a three-way tie for third, sitting on 33 points alongside Marlborough Youth and Fairford.

Under 12 Blue

A double triumph against fifth place Stratton Youth means that the Under 12 Blues will seal the Division Two title with four points from their final two fixtures. Their coronation could come sooner depending upon the outcome of Ramsbury Youth's midweek fixture against Wims 11 Foothills.

On Sunday, they triumphed 6-1 in their 'away' clash against Stratton Youth thanks to goals from Karol Czekanski (2), Phanuel Asenso, Indy Iles-Jones, Summer Jones and William Smith.

Smith and Sonny Parmaku then scored to seal a narrow 2-1 victory in the home 'leg'.

Under 13 Yellow

Meanwhile, the Under 13 Yellows returned to winning ways in style, defeating Chiseldon Youth White 7-0.

Leo Bagley moved to 21 goals for the season as he scored five, while Jackson Brown and Aaron Seal were also on target.

Under 12 Yellow

The Under 12 Yellows racked up a half dozen too as they saw off Hungerford Town Juniors 6-3 in a thrilling game.

Yusuf Guloglu scored a brace, with Fynn Crone, Thomas Hyde, Oliver Lucas and William Pegler also on target.

Under 15 Blue

There was heartbreak for the Under 15 Blues, whose outside hopes of a top two finish were dashed with a double-header defeat against rivals AFC Newbury Boys. Newbury recorded narrow 2-0 and 1-0 wins to take maximum points.

With two games to play, Bassett sit fourth in Division Two, two points behind third place Durrington Lions with a game in hand to play.
