Royal Wootton Bassett Town Under 12 Blue narrowed the gap to North Wilts League Division Two leaders Ramsbury Youth to just six points courtesy of a five-star performance against FC Calne Panthers.

Phanuel Asenso's brace and goals from Karol Czekanski, Summer Jones and William Smith ensured a 5-0 triumph that means Bassett can claim top spot if they win their games in hand.

They were joined as winners this past weekend by the Under 12 Yellows who saw off FC Abbey Meads Youth Blue 4-3. Thomas Hyde scored twice, with strikes from Yusuf Guloglu and Tom King also proving decisive.

Under 18s

After defeat in their last outing, the Under 18 Blues got back to winning ways with a 5-2 win away against Fairford Town Development.

Tom Warren's brace as well as goals from Harry Farrow, Will Jeary and Thomas Pitt earned the point for Bassett, who with three games to go are still in the hunt for runners-up spot in North Wilts League Division One.

Two of their remaining fixtures are against current second place side Ashton Keynes Youth White, who – with a game in hand over Bassett – are a point ahead.

Under 16s

Jacob Rendell-Haines struck twice for the Under 16 Blues as they upset third place Lydiard Youth Black.

Meanwhile, the Under 16 Yellow's unbeaten run since the end of lockdown was brought to an end in their double-header against Croft Junior Blue. While drawing the opening fixture 0-0, Croft triumphed 2-1 in the second match, with Taiga Matsushima scoring for Bassett.

Under 14s

Finley Lavender scored for the third game in a row as the Under 14 Yellows lost 6-1 at home against Marlborough Youth Falcons.

Under 13s

The Under 13 Yellows kept up their late season charge after seeing off Stratton Juniors Cougars 3-2 in a thrilling contest.

Goals from Leo Bagley (2) and Layton Stepp mean they remain in the mix for runners-up spot in Division Four.

With six games to go they are two points off the two sides currently tied for second. Meanwhile, the Under 13 Blues recorded a thumping 9-1 victory against Highworth Town Juniors H as they too remain unbeaten since lockdown lifted.
