Royal Wootton Bassett Town plans to resume its Free Saturday Skills Sessions on Saturday 10 April.

It is expected it will be possible to resume these sessions following the anticipated return of grassroots football from 29 March.

Please note attendance will still be limited to 30 and all attendees must be registered in advance. Spaces will be available on a first come, first served basis.

The sessions will take place on the AGP pitch at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground from 9-10am. At this moment in time, they will be open for boys and girls of all abilities aged 5-11.

All attendees need to bring boots, shin pads, a named water bottle and weather appropriate clothing.

In order to register for the sessions, please send an email to Bryan Wood containing the following information:

Name of child:
Age of child:
RWBTFC team child plays for (if relevant):
Details of any medical conditions that the club should be aware of:
Name of parent / guardian:
Parent / guardian contact details:
Emergency contact details:

In addition, all parents/guardians/carers must have read and signed the club's Covid-19 Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS).

Please note the updated version of the RAMS document is not yet available. This will be updated once updated guidance has been received from the FA and this information will then be communicated to members and made available on our website.

This will outline the measures in place at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground to maintain a safe environment and reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission as far as possible.

It is vital that these procedures are adhered to for the sake of all our members, their families and the wider local community.

No player will be able to attend any session unless they have read and understood the controls that are required. It is also necessary for parents/guardians/carers to have signed the RAMS form.
