Dominant victories and unfortunate losses

Royal Wootton Bassett Town Under 15 Blue continued their hot run of scoring form with a complete performance and an 8-0 win over Northside Athletic. Four goals and a player of the game award wrapped up an impressive performance from Finley Smith, who now has registered eight goals in his last two games. Other goals from Samuel Bounds, Josh Flay, Reuben Badman and Roseval Ribeiro completed the 8-0 thrashing away from home. The team sit in 5th after three games played in North Wilts League Under 15 Division Two, netting an impressive eighteen from those three matches.

An emphatic 7-1 victory away from home saw the U16 Yellows bounce back from consecutive defeats and pick up their second victory of the season against Purton Youth. A dominant second half display and a hat-trick for Callum King, as well as goals from Harry Curtis, Samuel Warner, Joey Watkinson and Harvey Watkinson, were enough to seal the spectacular victory. Callum King picked up player of the match with no doubts, due to his hat-trick contribution. The Yellows led 3-1 at half time, leading to a second half of clear cut chances. These were taken expertly resulting in the vigorous victory. The result sees the Yellows sit 5th in U16 Division Three after five games played.

The Under 14 Blues also continued their impressive start to the season with another victory, this time with a 3-1 win against Wims 11 Foothills. A brace from Beau Hicks and another from Ed Greenouff sealed a solid, well-deserved victory for them in U14 Division Two. Caden Jefferies was awarded player of the match after a superb performance. The Blues sit 3rd after four games and have a fighting chance for the league this season.
