Royal Wootton Bassett Town will be offering free goalkeeper coaching sessions to youth section members. These will take place on the AGP pitch (Pitch A) at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground on a weekly basis from 7-8pm.

Sessions are open to any current youth section members who play in goal, or are interested in playing the position.

The first session held on Monday September 7 was a huge success, which saw 16 goalkeepers attend having not received much notice.

A decision has therefore been taken to split the sessions according to age group. Sessions will therefore be run for Under 6 to 11s and Under 12 to 16s, with two sessions per month for each age group on the following dates:

Under 6 - 11: Monday 14 September and Monday 28 September
Under 12 - 16: Monday 21 September, Monday 5 October

Sessions will continue to be overseen by club coaches Mark Francis and Mark Cooper , who can be contacted for further details.

Those in attendance at the first session are also invited to contact Mark Francis and Mark Cooper with questions, observations and feedback.

In order to ensure compliance with the club's Covid-19 Risk Assessment and Method Statement, a register will be taken of those attending each session.
