RWBSA grateful for Crapper and Sons funding

Once again Royal Wootton Bassett Sports Association is the grateful recipient of grant funding support from Crapper and Sons.

Over the past couple of months, through significant grants provided by Crapper and Sons, RWBSA has been able to purchase a specialist mower for preparation of cricket wickets, a triple cylinder mower for the cutting of the grass playing surfaces, and a top-dresser used to evenly spread materials such as fertiliser and seed across the grass playing surfaces.

The mowers both replace equipment that were at the end of their life and not cost beneficial to repair or maintain. Meanwhile, the top-dresser will save the Association considerable hire costs each year.

The Sports Association and its member clubs - including Royal Wootton Bassett Town Football Club - are extremely grateful for Crapper and Sons continued support of the challenge to maintain quality and sustainable facilities for the local community.

Their support over the past five plus years, beginning with support of the Sports Association's relocation, has been exceptional and fundamental to where RWBSA and its member clubs find themselves now.
