Alfie Presley took the headlines at Royal Wootton Bassett Town's 2019-20 first team virtual end of season presentation as he was crowned Players' Player and Manager's Player of the Year.

The youngster picked up the prizes after an impressive first season for Bassett, in which he appeared 24 times, scoring four goals. The talented wide man split his time between midfield and full back and, despite the team's inconsistent results, played at a consistently high level throughout the campaign.

Another two players who made their first team debuts in the 2019-20 season also picked up awards.

Caine Bradbury was crowned Supporters' Player of the Year. The classy midfield operator was Bassett's leading appearance maker, featuring 31 times while scoring twice – including a stunning late free kick that earned a point at home against Reading City.

Meanwhile, George Ford – a product of Bassett's youth section – received the Young Player of the Year award. The full back was tasting senior football for the first time, but Ford never appeared fazed in the thirteen games that he played, producing a number of mature, assured performances including a man of the match display in a hard-fought 2-0 away win against Reading City.
