First team assistant manager to run London Marathon

Wednesday 13th November 2019

Royal Wootton Bassett Town assistant manager Matt Bulman has been accepted into the 2020 London Marathon and will be running to raise money for cancer charity CLIC Sargent.

Over the past eighteen months, Matt, whose father sadly passed away from cancer, has been raising money for the charity - and the London Marathon in April is his biggest fundraising challenge yet.

To support Matt, donations can be made via the JustGiving page he has set up.

A donation bucket will also be placed in the clubhouse at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground.

CLIC Sargent fights tirelessly to stop cancer destroying young lives. The charity provide grants and free accommodation close to hospital to help with spiralling costs. Its care teams are on hand to help families with everything from getting benefits to treatment closer to home. And they lobby the government to make sure families get the support they're entitled to. CLIC Sargent are here to make sure young cancer patients can focus on getting their lives back on track.
