Free Saturday Skills Sessions and SSE Wildcats Girls’ Football Centre

Monday 2nd September 2019

Following a break for the summer, the Free Saturday Skills Sessions and SSE Wildcats Girls' Football Centre get back underway this Saturday (7th September).

The sessions will, as ever, take place on the AGP at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground from 9-10am.

The Free Skills Sessions are open to boys and girls aged 4-13, while the SSE Wildcats Centre is available for girls aged 5-11 to attend.

The club originally introduced free skills sessions in September 2012 after the club had its Football Legacy Fund (FLF) application accepted by the FA National Youth Council.

And in 2018 the community football sessions received the prestigious Wiltshire FA Community Project of the Year in the inaugural FA and McDonald's Grassroots Football Award.

Meanwhile, the SSE Wildcats Girls' Football Centre began this May.

Both were well attended last season, and we look forward to seeing similar numbers this year.
