SSE Wildcats Girls' Football Centre set to start!

Friday 26th April 2019

Do you have a sister, daughter, niece or friend aged 5-11 who is interested in playing football? If so, our SSE Wildcats Girls' Football Centre, beginning on Saturday 4th May, provides the perfect opportunity for them to get started!

The sessions are open to all girls aged 5-11 and will run weekly from 9 to 10am on the AGP pitch at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground.

And those attending are encouraged to bring a friend with them!

The sessions will take place alongside the club's award winning Free Saturday Skills Sessions – open to boys and girls aged 4 to 13.

The FA and SSE launched the Wildcats Girls' Football initiative to inspire girls aged between 5-11 to be involved in football.

SSE Wildcats Girls' Football Centres provide girls with regular opportunities to play football and take part in organised sessions in a fun, engaging and safe environment. Over 1,400 centres have now been established nationwide.
